How is CBT delivered?

At PremierPhysio our CBT sessions can be carried out either face-to-face or over video, in which you will discuss your specific difficulties and set goals for you to achieve. You might focus on what is going on in your life right now, or look at your past and think about how past experiences impact the way you see the world now.

Our CBT and EMDR appointments are always delivered on a personal, 1:1 basis and carried out in a private treatment room. The number of sessions you need depends on the difficulties you have and will typically be between 5 and 20 sessions, of an hour duration. We are registered with private medical insurers and also work with solicitors.

Our Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Pauline O'Connell is accredited with the BABCP. She will discuss your specific difficulties and set goals for you to achieve. CBT is not a quick fix – it involves hard work during and between sessions, but you will learn how to overcome your problems and gain control of your life long-term.
