Staff Profile
Growing up in a household with a nurse for a mum, and family members with complex medical issues, I've always had a passion to help people. In 2007 I graduated with a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation, & 2 years later started working for the RAF as an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor, working to fix injured personnel. Working for the military has seen me enjoy the company of a lot of people I wouldn't have normally come in contact with, and moving to work around the country & in Germany. The work was demanding, but as long as the work got done, there was always time to have fun.
As a therapist we never know everything, so I have tried to expand my knowledge base on a variety of health and fitness related topics, including up-skilling my sports massage to include neuromuscular techniques, becoming a Pilates instructor & a Women's fitness specialist.
Since 2017, when I made the decision to better help people with injuries in my local community, I've been working at a local gym as a personal trainer, sports masseur & sports rehabilitator. I joined PremierPhysio in August 2018.
When I get a few minutes to myself, I'm an avid film watcher, architectural photographer & love travelling to new places, overseas.
